My experience in visual design spans over two decades in both agencies and as a contract resource. My success can be attributed to strong communication skills in a collaborative setting, an eye for detail, and an understanding of the design process and its applications.
I consider myself artistic, curious and constantly analyzing how things move, connect and flow. This involves keeping my skills fresh with the latest design trends. Part of my journey includes earning a certificate in UX/UI design. The intensive six-month boot camp sharpened my skills in human-centric design, focusing on the target audience from onboarding to the end goal.
I'm based out of Portland, Oregon. When I am not designing, you might find me cycling with a group of fellow cyclists, capturing the outdoors behind a camera, or channeling my inner musician.

Rick is an extremely thoughtful and creative designer. AND he has the ability to speak linear speak and translate very simple creative conversations into beautiful design!”
Rick is amazing to work with, I really appreciate the time he takes to understand the customer’s goal and communicate what he is hearing – best part, the guy is superb at ‘getting to’ exactly what you want and making that work via the website. I highly recommend his design service”.
